When new babysitters are appointed at Kiddicare they undergo a formal “induction” into our required procedures and practices. All new babysitters are furnished with a “Babysitters Kit” to assist them with their tasks. This kit is full of information on SIDS, babysitting tips, emergency procedures, tourist maps, forms, business cards, flyers, etc. We also provide them with a
babysitter's checklist
and occupational health and safety checklist.
We have also undertaken Special Education Training with Dr. Jim Hooson of “Learning Creations” in Sydney. Specifically, this is “Sensory Integration Therapy”, learning exercises and activities that improve auditory processing function, co-ordination and communication skills in “special needs” children.
Kiddicare provides a friendly, responsible, caring and trustworthy service that you will want to use time and time again. Our babysitters are available to you on call when you need them, day and night, for before and after school care, on a casual or long term basis.
